What Is School ? (Part 2)
The facilitator should have an optimistic outlook for each and every student present in the classroom. He should make the process more fun and without any limitations or restrictions for the child. The classroom should have positive synergy while the classes are being conducted.
The classroom environment should be such that it belongs to the class. The facilitator should have an optimistic outlook towards every child studying in it. The teaching process should not involve any third-party conversation. It should develop a relationship between the student and the teacher. The teacher not only gives shape to the future of the student but also shapes his or her personality, which depends on the school environment. The process of schooling is initially difficult when the child enters the school for the first time. He does not feel like interacting and knowing the teacher. During that time, the teacher should try to develop a bond to influence the child in a positive manner. Mutual understanding should be the primary goal for the teachers to understand the child. Students should not hesitate to share any feelings with the educator.
The educator should be encouraging enough to support the child if the child makes any error during the learning process, as motivation is a necessary tool in the journey to learn new things. While the process goes on, the facilitator and the children should develop a relationship without any interference of others. Interference can be the reason for consequences between the two. The learning process involves having a positive outlook for each other, and difference of opinion should be respected by the student and teacher. Alternatively, the education process should be suggestive. It should have the scope for any change if the child wants. The facilitator should take the suggestions of the child if the child finds any problem in the process of teaching. The teaching should be smooth and not confusing for the child.
